Highlights

  • Luxurious Tipi Camp Experience
  • Family-Friendly Snowshoe Options
  • Vintage Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride

This tour is operated in partnership with Jackson Hole Vintage Adventures, providing a vintage sleigh ride, a gourmet meal, and a unique Tipi Camp experience for our day of adventure.

One of the most immersive ways to experience winter here is on snowshoes, an age-old tradition that lets you float atop the snow just like a winter hare might. Ideal for all skill levels, snowshoeing offers a unique, close-up perspective of the breathtaking forests, floodplains, and river banks that make up this stunning landscape.  This trip allows for you to take a break from the norm and literally step out into the deep stuff. Whether you have been snowshoeing your whole life, or never at all, it will undoubtedly be an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Our day begins with a hotel pickup from the town of Jackson, Teton Village, or Wilson, Wyoming.  We will transport you to our snowshoe site located on private ranch lands in the southwest corner of the valley.  Here you will don your vintage snowshoes, have a bit of education on proper snowshoe etiquette from the guide, and head out into the wilds along the Snake River.

For a full experience, enjoy a vintage sleigh ride through the forest before lunch, then head out on snowshoe to explore the lowlands along the banks of the Snake River.
