Bio

Scott grew up on the Idaho side of the Tetons. He spent his youth up in the mountains, throughout Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, as well as the more obscure corners of the Greater Yellowstone. After leaving the area for university in 1991 he realized that he had left his true loves behind, skiing and the Tetons. With that realization, he moved back to the area in 1995 after school, and settled on the Wyoming side of the Tetons, in Jackson Hole.

In 1997, his journey as a guide commenced with wilderness backpacking expeditions, specifically catering to troubled Wyoming boys through a wilderness therapy program. Over the years, he has continued his guiding ventures, specializing in backcountry skiing and backcountry snowmobiling. As of 2015, he expanded his expertise to include guiding naturalist and photography tours throughout the year in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. When not actively engaged with work, he immerses himself in various outdoor pursuits. You can often find him hiking, biking, and rafting, conquering the summits in the breathtaking Jackson Hole region, all while capturing the endless beauty of landscapes, wildlife, and sports through his photography.
