Overview
Travel on safari through central India with Jason Williams and Carrie Wild. The central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh is dotted with National Parks and nature reserves and is home to the bengal tiger and other wildlife. It has a sub-tropical climate, with hot dry summers from April to June and a monsoon season from July to September. Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench National Parks, all located within Madhya Pradesh are managed as Project Tiger sites, a conservation program, instituted by the Government of India. On this safari, we will arrive in Delhi and journey to three National Parks: Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench. We will be accompanied at each park by a local professional naturalist who will guide us on safari drives each day. We will be on the search for bengal tigers, but the parks are rich in wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled and your camera ready. Join us, on a journey to Incredible India!

It is no secret that tiger conservation status was critical. There were 100,000 tigers in the wild at the beginning of the 20th century… by the end of it there were less than 4,000.
