Chris Irwin has been pursuing wildlife since he was a young boy growing up in rural Ohio and later in the Smokey Mountains of East Tennessee. It was in this setting where he found his love for photography and a passion for the outdoors. Shortly after earning a degree in photography, he moved to the Midwest to work in the outdoor industry as a senior staff photographer and has worked as a professional photographer for multiple decades. In 2005 he discovered the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and is now guiding his tenth season. Chris is an experienced guide in wildlife photography, kayaks, ATVs/SUVs, snowcoach, and snowmobiles in Wyoming and the GYE, and a hunting guide in Kansas.
