Bio
When Chaney thinks of guiding, she thinks of connection—to people and to places. Oneness with the world around us has always been her biggest motivator in life. Chaney loves viewing wildlife in this beautiful ecosystem with eyes that bring us back to our roots—to simply slow down and be.
Chaney carries a deep love for backpacking, yoga, and exploration. After college, Chaney became a flight attendant, which only fueled her passion for adventure. That path eventually landed her in Seward, Alaska, where she worked alongside a team of likeminded individuals, showing guests from all walks of life the abundance of wildlife and glaciers in and around Resurrection Bay.
Chaney has always been drawn to Jackson. Growing up in Texas, her family often road-tripped north in the summers to spend days exploring Yellowstone. Those early experiences planted the seed, and she’s felt called to share the wonders of our world ever since. Guiding here feels like home to Chaney.
